Amazon Adds Extra Layer of Security with One-Time Passwords
Enhanced Protection for High-Value Orders
Ensure Your Packages Are Safe
In a move to safeguard valuable deliveries, Amazon has implemented a one-time password (OTP) system for select orders. This additional security measure helps protect customer packages from unauthorized access and ensures peace of mind.
When an OTP is required, customers will receive a notification via email or text containing a time-sensitive password. This password must be used within 10 minutes of receipt.
The OTP adds an extra layer of protection to the delivery process. By requiring a unique password for each delivery, Amazon reduces the risk of unauthorized individuals gaining access to items before they reach the intended recipient.
