As Canada's Minister of Public Safety, I am deeply concerned by this report.
The report says that Canada is not prepared for the social and economic impacts of climate change. It warns that climate-related events such as droughts, floods, and wildfires could lead to food shortages, water shortages, and power outages.
The report also says that the government's response to the climate crisis has been inadequate. It calls on the government to take more ambitious action to reduce emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
