The OutRunners

When Eli starts talking to the wrong girl he accidentally lands himself in a high stakes car race through the neon soaked streets of Los Angeles at night.

An Interview with Director John Bianco

We recently had the chance to sit down with director John Bianco to talk about his new film, The OutRunners. Bianco is a rising star in the indie film world, and his latest film is a stylish and exciting action thriller that is sure to get your heart racing.

In The OutRunners, Eli is a young man who accidentally gets caught up in a dangerous car race. What was your inspiration for the film?

I've always been fascinated by car races, and I thought it would be great to make a film about a young man who gets caught up in one. I wanted to explore the themes of risk, danger, and adrenaline, and I thought a car race would be the perfect setting for that.

The film has a very distinct visual style. How did you achieve that?

I worked closely with my cinematographer to create a visual style that was both stylish and exciting. We used a lot of neon lighting and saturated colors to create a very vibrant and energetic look. We also used a lot of handheld camerawork to give the film a sense of urgency and immediacy.

The OutRunners is a very exciting film. What do you hope audiences will take away from it?

I hope audiences will be entertained by The OutRunners, but I also hope they'll think about the themes of the film. I hope they'll think about the risks and dangers of taking risks, and I hope they'll think about the importance of following their dreams.
